The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has announced that Port Harcourt will host the finals of the 2025 Nigeria Men’s Premier Basketball League.
NBBF Vice President, Babs Ogunade, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday by the federation’s Secretary, Amina Amanchi.
According to Ogunade, the federation has approved and awarded the hosting rights of both the Final 8 and Final 4 to Rivers Hoopers Basketball Club of Port Harcourt.
He said the club has committed to providing a standard venue, modern facilities, security, medical services, and live online streaming of matches. The Rivers Hoopers will also make available buses for participating teams, as well as offer financial support and accommodation subsidies.
The statement further revealed that the Final 8 will take place from October 26 to November 3, while the top four teams will compete in the Final 4 from November 20 to 23, both at the same venue in Port Harcourt.
