This is to inform the public that henceforth, all building and fencing permits in Port Harcourt City Local Government must go through the office of the Mayor of Port Harcourt.
By this announcement, all persons seeking the aforementioned permits or who have constructed buildings without permits must visit the office of the mayor to obtain the permit.
Furthermore, the Mayor of Port Harcourt has directed that all communication be made through the office of Mr. Emmanuel Sowah on behalf of the council and who can be reached through 08132790630.
For the avoidance of doubt, failure to comply with this directive may result in enforcement action by the council.
