The Rivers State Police Command has arrested 26 suspected car thieves terrorizing Port Harcourt and its environs.
The State Commissioner of Police, Tunji Disu made this known in a statement while parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Port Harcourt Today.
According to him, the gang has stolen about 76 vehicles and that 17 stolen vehicles including charms were recovered from them.
He warned residents of the state against indulging in crime and criminality, adding that the command is on course to put an end to such activities.
