The Rivers State Police Command has paraded 36 suspected criminals arrested in different parts of the state.
The State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday while parading the suspects at the force headquarters in Port Harcourt on Friday, said some of them were responsible for the crimes along the Ogoni axis of the state.
He said the suspects were arrested by the Anti-kidnapping Unit of the Command, adding that they will be charged in accordance with the laws of the state.
The CP, stated that over one hundred live ammunition amongst other weapons were recovered from the suspects.
Some of the suspects in a chat with journalists denied involvement in the crime they were arrested for while others admitted and blamed poverty for the act.
