Director-General of the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Council in Rivers State, Abiye Sekibo has accused Governor, Nyesom Wike of sending Police officers to destroy and burn venue of the party’s presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt last night.

Sekibo, during a press briefing Today, also alleged that the officers shot at him on his way to the venue after receiving calls that the venue was on fire.

He appealed to President, Muhammadu Buhari to call Wike to order to avoid a break down of law and order in the state.

Sekibo also appealed to the Inspector General of Police to call officers attached to the governor to order as they are being used to perpetrate violence.

The DG noted that nothing would stop the campaign from holding in Port Harcourt, as Rivers people are in support of Atiku and would vote for him.

He also said Police officers have barricaded venue for the rally.
