Peter Ebah, the Police officer accused of rape by a widow in Tai, Local Government Area, Rivers State, has denied the rape allegation levelled against him
Ebah said, he never raped the widow as she agreed to follow him to the guest house and consented to the act without force or threat from him.
The officer made this known during a meeting with the Police Spokesperson, the said widow and civil society organisations yesterday in Port Harcourt.
The widow during the meeting maintained that the officer raped her in a beer parlour after arresting her for not wearing a nose mask.
Meanwhile, force Spokesperson Nnamdi Omoni in a chat with journalists said the CP, Joseph Mukan has ordered the matter be transferred to the Police CID, for investigation and prosecution.
