A mobile Police Officer has allegedly shot dead a tricycle operator popularly known as “Keke Napep” identified as “School Boy” over his refusal to pay a N100 bribe.
The incident occurred this morning at Rukpokwu in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State.
According to eye witnesses, the police officer shot the deceased over his refusal to bribe him for illegally operating on a major road in the area.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in the area to forestall the outbreak of further crises as residents of the area have blocked all major roads in the area.
