The Rivers State Police Command, has confirmed the explosion of a pipeline at Rumuekpe in Emouha Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson of the command, Nnamdi Omoni in a statement yesterday, said some persons died during the incident but is yet to get the full casualty figure.
He stated that those who sustained injuries have been transferred to a medical facility for treatment.
Omoni also stated that officers have been deployed to the area to forestall an outbreak of law and order.
