The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of one Patrick Essien for allegedly stabbing his landlord, Iheanyichukwu America while trying to stop him from assaulting his wife in Rumuepirikom, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Koko disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
She said the suspect has been arrested and that the victim is currently receiving treatment.
“We are aware of the situation. The suspect has been apprehended and is currently in our custody. The investigation is still ongoing,” she said.
