Armed policemen have arrested activist and publisher, Omoyele Sowore, within the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Sowore was reportedly at the court to show solidarity with the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, who is facing trial on terrorism-related charges.
Eyewitnesses said the arrest occurred shortly after Sowore appeared at the court premises. The reason for his arrest was, however, not immediately clear as of the time of filing this report.
