The Rivers State Civil Society Organization, says all is set for its planned protest with concerned electricity consumers, against the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, over the hike in electricity tariff, in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, April 5, 2021.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill said this in a post on his social media handle on Monday.
Enefaa who said it was time for PHED to go, stated that the protest will hold at the Company’s office at Moscow Road, in Port Harcourt, by 10:00 am.
He called on concerned electricity consumers to come out in their numbers, and join the organization in putting an end to what he described as incompetence on the part of the company.
The protest will be the second against PHED, by RIVCSO and concerned residents, who had earlier embarked on a peaceful protest against the company few weeks ago.
