Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Plc (PHED) has announced that starting March 1, 2026, all MD customers will begin receiving electronic bills (e-bills) alongside traditional paper bills.
The company in a statement said the dual issuance will continue until June 2026, after which paper billing will be completely phased out.
PHED urged customers to update their contact information to ensure uninterrupted bill delivery.
Updates can be made by visiting the regional office responsible for their area, contacting designated Key Account Officers, or using the PHED Connect App, available on the Play Store.
It said customers can also update their details via the website connect.phed.com.ng.
The company emphasized that this transition aims to improve service efficiency and sustainability.
