Caretaker Committee Chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Hon. Ichemati Ezebunwo on Tuesday, handed out educational grants to 20 students from PHALGA in the Nigerian Law School.
Ezebunwo, who made this known in a statement Today, also said 50 Lawyers from Port Harcourt City Local Government were supported to attend the 2024 NBA Annual General Conference.
She said, “Yesterday, in line with our desire to make our people happy, as charged by the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS;
“We handed out educational grants to 20 Port Harcourt City Local Government students in the Nigerian Law School and support to 50 Lawyers from Port Harcourt City Local Government to attend the 2024 NBA Annual General Conference.
“This is part of our contributions to the growth of the capacity of our lawyers and further ameliorate the financial burden on our students in the Nigerian Law School.
“The administration of His Excellency Governor Sim Fubara has made it a top priority to invest in the educational and human capacity development of our citizens. By focusing on enhancing the quality of education and providing opportunities for personal and professional growth, the Governor is committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the community.

We advised the beneficiaries to remain focused and ensure that they leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of greatness.
