Chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Hon. Ezebunwo Ichemati has rewarded a staff of the council, Joshua Ogolo with the sum of hundred thousand naira for emerging as Staff of the month for November.
The Council, chairman made this known in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, the award and recognition system is intended to motivate civil servants.
He said, “Today, In line with our Monthly Award & Recognition initiative for Civil servants in Port Harcourt City Local Government, Mr. JOSHUA FRANCIS OGOLO from the Department of Works emerged as our STAFF OF THE MONTH for the month of NOVEMBER.
“This award and recognition system is intended to motivate the men and women of our civil service and to encourage them to put in their best for the overall progress of our dear LGA.
