Popular Port Harcourt social media influencer YemiThePlug has been reported dead.
A Facebook user said Yemi died Today, due to negligence by a nurse at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital after he had an Asthma attack and was rushed to the hospital.
“Yemi is dead Today due to UPTH negligence. He was brought to the hospital alive but the nurse in question needed a dorm of identification. Identification in a case of emergency???”, he said.
Another Facebook user identified as Ewor Isaac also said “What’s with UPTH and means of identification before attending to patients? Even when someone is in a critical condition? Na wa, Now Yemitheplug is gone because of this singular policy.“
Friends of the deceased have taken to social media platforms to mourn the popular media influencer.
The management of UPTH is yet to react to the Incident.
