Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has said that his administration will deal decisively with anyone who attempts to sabotage the Port Harcourt Ring Road project.
The Governor, said this today, during the flag off of the road at UTC junction, Port Harcourt by former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike.
He stated that compensation will be paid to those whose properties will be affected by the project.
Fubara, also said apart from infrastructure projects, his administration will embark on youth empowerment.
The governor, added that they did not sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Julius Berger as reported, but the contract for construction of the road.
“We didn’t sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Julius Berger as wrongly reported, we actually signed the contract for the construction of the Ring Road,” he said.
