A Port Harcourt-based actor, and a movie producer identified as Henry Asonna have been reportedly killed in a shootout by the Lagos SWAT team during a kidnap attempt in Ladipo, Lagos.
According to reports, they were shot dead during a gun duel with police operatives of the Lagos State Command.
Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement, said the gang of kidnappers were planning to kidnap some high net-worth individuals in Lagos before the police swung into action.
