Leo Edochie, son of veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie, has again refuted circulating reports that his father has died, describing the claims as false.

The rumour began trending on X after a user posted that the 78-year-old actor had reportedly passed away in a hospital under “unknown circumstances,” and alleged that the news had been confirmed by one of his sons.

The viral post claimed that Pete Edochie died after being rushed to the hospital and stated that his “elder son” had announced the development on Instagram.

Reacting to the report, Leo Edochie dismissed the claim and reassured the public that the celebrated actor is alive, urging people to disregard the misinformation.
