A clinical oncologist, Dr Charles Okwonna has warned that those with tattoos may end up having blood cancer.
Okwonna said the location and type of tattoo ink used are significant factors influencing the risk of developing blood cancers.
According to him, carcinogenic chemicals in tattoo inks can trigger an immune reaction in the body, leading to the development of blood cancers.
This comes days after a cancer survivor with a massive tattoo on his arm Farooq Oreagba stole the show at the 2024 Ojude Oba Day celebration with many indicating interest in getting similar tattoo.
