Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Emeka Beke has reportedly said that those leaving the party are doing so because of hunger.
Beke, was quoted to have said in a statement that such persons are very hungry and are looking for food to eat.
He stated that the APC remains a strong united party despite the gale of defections, as it is on course for victory.
“People leaving APC to join Wike are doing so because of hunger. They are very hungry,” he said.
Beke, had also in a statement few days ago said they will cash in on the crises rocking the People’s Democratic Party to produce the next Governor of the state.
