Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers state, Tony Okocha says Gov. Sim Fubara is the greatest beneficiary of the peace deal reached on the political crisis in Rivers state.
Okocha in a statement said the president indirectly shutdown the powers of the State Assembly from impeaching the governor.
According to him, despite the fact that an impeachment notice had already been served on the governor it was withdrawn for the sake of peace.
He said supporters of the governor should be grateful for the president’s intervention, rather than cast aspersions.
Recall that the governor had said he was committed to implementing the resolutions reached between him and his predecessor
