Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has expressed optimism that the People’s Democratic party will produce his successor come 2023.
The governor, said this during a ceremony in Port Harcourt, on Thursday, to welcome scores of APC members into the party.
He said with the achievements of his administration, he is sure that Rivers people will vote for the party come 2023.
Wike, commended the new party members for the move, describing it as a step in the right direction.
He also said what is important to him is the development of the state, as he vowed to continue to protect her interest at all cost.
According to him, no project across the 23 local government areas of the state, will be left abandoned by his administration.
