The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced a 13-member National Convention Screening Committee to vet aspirants seeking various national offices ahead of its highly anticipated 2025 Elective National Convention.
The convention, scheduled to hold from November 15 to 16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State, is expected to be a decisive event as the opposition party prepares to reposition itself ahead of future elections.
According to a statement by the party, the committee will oversee the screening process to ensure that all aspirants meet the required qualifications and uphold the party’s internal democratic standards.
