The Reconciliation Committee set up by the People’s Democratic Party,to find lasting solution to the problems rocking the party, has said that it could not ask embattled chairman, Uche Secondus to withdraw lawsuits he filed challenging his suspension from the party.
According to sources, Chairman of the Committee, David Mark made this known when they met with Secondus few days ago in Abuja on Wednesday.
He said since Governor, Nyesom Wike had also refused to withdraw the suit leading to the suspension of Secondus, it became extremely difficult to urge Secondus to do so.
However, the former Senate President, noted that the ongoing cases in different courts were capable of thwarting the move to reconcile aggrieved members of the party.
Secondus, on his part, vowed not to withdraw his lawsuits until Wike and his allies withdraw theirs, adding that they were the first to go to court.
