The People’s Democratic Party, says it is already to work with the All Progressives Congress led Federal Government to put an end to the issue of insecurity bedeviling the nation.
National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus disclosed this during a World Press Conference in Abuja, on Monday.
He said this is no time to play politics, as everybody must come together to put an end to insecurity in the nation.
Secondus called for the creation of a National Boarder Protection Force, with personnel and equipment from existing armed service and Nigeria Immigration Service to protect the country’s borders.
“The situation in our country is not normal and exceptional steps should be taken to restore it to normalcy,” he said.
“The PDP, as a body, is willing to give a helping hand in this direction,” Secondus added.
He also called on FG to hire a team of experts, irrespective of party affiliation to help Nigeria out of its current economic challenges.
Secondus also advised the Buhari-led administration to stop the incessant borrowing, so as not to mortgage the future of the next generation.
