Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has expressed deep concern over the political situation in Rivers State, warning that the state is on the brink of crisis.
In an Easter message released through his Special Adviser on Media, Ike Abonyi, Secondus criticized the actions of the state’s Sole Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas, stating they have destabilized governance and put the state “on a keg of gunpowder.”
He called on President Bola Tinubu to reject any misguided counsel and take steps to restore Governor Siminalayi Fubara, whom he described as the legitimate leader with the people’s mandate.
