An indigene of Oyigbo and member of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State, Asiegbu Nnaji has withdrawn his support for Governor Wike. This, according to him, is owing to the crises rocking Oyigbo Local Government Area.
Nnaji, disclosed this in a statement on his Facebook Page yesterday.
He accused the Governor of sending armed military men to the area to maim and kill innocent residents.
“I am a member of the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria,” he said
“I am officially withdrawing my support for Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON of Rivers State over the killings of innocent people in Obigbo otherwise known as Oyigbo.
“It’s very wrong to kill and only an evil man will partake or orchestrate the massacre of a whole community of unarmed persons,” he added.
Governor Nyesom Wike has made several statements denying these allegations.
