The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued certificates of expulsion to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, and several other top-ranking former members following allegations of sustained anti-party activities.
The certificates were issued by the National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja, reaffirming the party’s earlier decision ratified at its National Convention on November 16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to the NWC, the expulsions were carried out under Article 59(3) of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017) and are “final and irrevocable.” Those expelled include; Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Samuel Anyanwu, Kamaldeen Ajibade, Umar Bature, Abdulrahman Mohammed, Ayo Fayose, George Turner, Austine Nwachukwu and Abraham Amah
The party maintained that the affected individuals were found guilty of gross misconduct, sabotage, and open collaboration with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
