Rivers State Governor, Barr, Nyesom Wike has accused Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and its National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu of holding meetings and taking decisions on their behalf.
Wike, made the allegation during the commissioning of the Ahoada Campus of the Rivers State University.
According to him, one of the issues bedeviling the nation is the inability of leaders to keep to their words.
He stated that National Chairman of the party had vowed to resign if a northerner emerged Presidential candidate of the PDP, noting that “agreement is agreement.”
Wike revealed that he is not fighting for any position from anybody but, for the right things to be done for the sake of equity and justice.
He also alleged that some members of the party are now arrogant because they believe a certain individual from the presidency is backing them.
According to him, at the appropriate time he will mention the individual backing members of the party.
He also said he will continue to fight because the injustice enough.
