Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has said that he has no intentions of leaving leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as speculated in some quarters.
Wike, who made the declaration during a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, said he would remain in the party and confront the challenges.
He revealed that he does not back down from a fight, describing those against him as vampires.
“I don’t back down from any fight. I will stay in the PDP and face whatever comes. Who do I have to run from? The vampires?”
“Anyone who knows me knows that if I wanted to join the APC, I would do it openly. I openly said that I wouldn’t support their presidential candidate and I stood by that’,” he said.
