The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Ward 9, Rumuepirikom in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State, has expelled former leader of the council’s legislative arm and councillor of the ward, Hon. Prince Achor Nna.
Chairman of the party in the Ward, Collns Wobo Chukwu made this known in a letter he signed few days ago.
According to him, Prince was expelled over financial misappropriation and misconduct following the recommendation of the committee set up to investigate the allegations.
He said despite several invitations for Achor to appear before the committee to defend himself, he failed to show up.
Meanwhile, Achor who few days ago resigned his position and declared support for Gov. Sim Fubara has described the allegations as false.
