The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has again taken a swipe at national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu.
Wike during a media chat at Government House in Port Harcourt Today, described Ayu as a man who lacks integrity and not fit to lead the presidential campaign of the party.
According to him, one hallmark of leadership is integrity, which is one of the issues bedeviling the nation.
He reiterated that Ayu promised to resign if Atiku, a northerner emerged presidential candidate of the party, and that the constitution of the party made it clear that positions should be zoned between the North and South.
He said after the chairmanship position was zoned to the North, the party refused to zone the presidential ticket to the South.
He explained that riff raffs who do not know their polling units are the ones interpreting the constitution of the party.
Wike pointed out that if things are done the right way, the society will move on well, adding that Justice, equity and fairness are what he is asking for.
He also accused Ayu off collecting hundred million naira from a governor during the primaries, and said he will reveal more things, if pushed to the wall.
