The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on President, Joe Biden to sanction leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress, involved in acts of corruption.

Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiya, disclosed this in a statement on behalf of the party on Sunday.

The party commended Biden for lifting the visa restrictions on Nigerians, while stating that it should not include such leaders and officials of the Buhari’s administration.

“Moreover, our party urges President Biden to offer support in saving our democracy by enforcing firm sanctions on APC leaders and their agents in Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, security agencies and the judiciary, who openly undermined our democracy by manipulating elections,” part of the statement read.

The party also called for the freezing of the assets of such leaders in the United States, in order to save the country’s democracy.
