The Accreditation Sub-Committee of the 2025 Elective National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold its inaugural meeting on Friday, October 24, 2025, in Abuja.

According to an official notice issued to members, the meeting will commence at 10:00 a.m. at the National Convention Organizing Committee (NCOC) Secretariat, Legacy House, Shehu Shagari Way, Maitama.

The session will be chaired by the Executive Governor of Zamfara State and Chairman of the Sub-Committee, Dr. Dauda Lawal. It is expected to formally inaugurate the team and outline its mandate in preparation for the party’s highly anticipated national convention.

The Accreditation Sub-Committee will play a key role in vetting and authenticating delegates who will participate in the elective convention.

“All members of the Accreditation Sub-Committee are encouraged to attend this inaugural meeting,” the notice stated.

The statement was signed by the Secretary of the Sub-Committee, Hon. Capt. Umar M. Bature (Rtd).

The 2025 Elective National Convention is seen as a significant milestone for the PDP as the party gears up for future elections and internal restructuring.
