A pastor with one of the new generation churches in Port Harcourt, has narrated his ordeal in the hands of suspected human parts dealers at the Diobu axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Pastor Levi Fatai, in a chat with Elanhub on Friday, said the incident happened last week Sunday, while on his way to church with his little daughter.
The victim, said he boarded a taxi that had a male and a female inside at Iloabuchi by Akokwa Street. He noted that when they got to Egede street, another man suspected to be working with them entered, and locked the door.
He said few minutes later the driver and the passengers started making eye contacts, whilst the lady was communicating with a ring in her hand, in form of incantations.
Levi, explained that when they got to sand-fill junction by Eagle Island, the driver decided to divert to the route leading to Agip, before he started shouting at him that he was heading to Ikokwu.
“I told the driver I was going to Ikokwu before I entered. When we got to sand-fill he wanted to divert then i started shouting at him.
“The lady close to me was talking to a ring in her hand, which made me start praying. Before then I was totally confused and could not talk. It was when my little daughter started singing that I realised myself. The suspects along the line became confused and began to argue.
“The driver had to reverse the car and drove towards Ikokwu, as soon as we got to Abel Jumbo, where we had some Police officers, I asked them to drop me. Though scared they obeyed. Immediately I came out, the car sped off,” he said.
The pastor stated that when he got to church and prayed over it, it was revealed to him that they were suspected ritualists who deal on human parts.
He advised residents to be prayerful and careful before boarding any vehicle as such persons are on the prowl.
