Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has had been conferred with the Doctor of Science, Honoris Causa award, by PAMO University of Medical Sciences (PUMS).
Founder of the institution, Sir Peter Odili made this known at the 4th convocation ceremony of the institution at the University Convocation Arena, Iriebe Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area on Friday.
Odili, a former governor of the state, expressed appreciation to Governor Fubara for offering automatic employment to the 76 graduands of the 4th Convocation
He described Governor Fubara as a young, tough, humble , irrepressible leader who has faced the most existential challenges but remained focused, committed to executing projects that impact directly on the people positively.
