The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities, NASU, have issued a three-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to pay their outstanding salaries.
The unions threatened to embark on an indefinite strike at the expiration of the ultimatum.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by SSANU President, Mohammed Ibrahim, and NASU General Secretary, Prince Peters Adeyemi on Wednesday.
