Chairman of Rivers State Civil Society Organizations (RIVCSO), Enefaa Georgewill has stated that the problem of the state is not COVID-19 but “soot and hunger.”

The outspoken activist made this known in a post on his Facebook Page, today.

He called on Governor Wike to address Kpo Fire operations and unemployment, as these are the major problems bedeviling the state.

“Our Problem In Rivers State Is Soot & Hunger Not COVID19. Can Gov. Wike, Lockdown Kpo Fire Operators & Unemployment?” he said.

Rivers stakeholders have repeatedly called on the state government to address the issue of soot in the state, as it is disastrous to the health and well-being of residents.
