The Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Council of Rivers State has distributed federal government palliative to 11 wards within the LGA.
The council Chairman, Enyiada Cookey-Gam supervised the handover and distribution process Today to ensure fair allocation of resources to committee representatives from various political parties, civil society organizations, NGOs, stakeholders, and ward councilors.
The distribution followed a mandated template aimed at fair and transparent allocation.
Each Ward received about 30 bags of rice, 40 bags of maize, amongst other items.
