The Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has announced the establishment of another free school in Elekahia, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, bringing the total number of its free schools to 43.

The General Overseer of the church, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, made the announcement, stating that the new school property was acquired through church tithes and offerings at the cost of ₦100 million on April 9, 2026.

“By the grace of God, I have used tithes and offerings from OPM Church to purchase another property today, 9 April 2026, for ₦100 million, for OPM Free School, making it 43 OPM Free Schools,” he said.

He added that all OPM Free Schools are designed to cater for orphans and children from less privileged homes, and are open to students of all religious backgrounds, including Muslims and Christians from different denominations.

According to him, successful students will benefit from free educational support, including uniforms, school bags, textbooks, sandals, and canvas shoes.

The newly acquired property, which will be converted into a school, is located at No. 3A Chief Fred Aka Street, off Ilom Street, Elekahia Town, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Meanwhile, entrance examinations into the OPM Free School are scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
