Port Harcourt faith based organization, Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has sent over forty less privileged students to study on scholarship overseas.
The church reputed for its philanthropic gestures had few weeks ago promised to send another batch of students to study on scholarship abroad.
General overseer of the church Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, disclosed this at the Port Harcourt International Airport over the weekend. He was present at the airport to see the beneficiaries depart the country.
He said his love for God is behind his kind gestures as he promised to do more. Apostle Chibuzor also noted that by November examination for those seeking to do their masters overseas will begin and that successful candidates will be sent to complete their studies in different parts of the world.
Parents and guardians of the students who spoke to journalists were full of praises for the clergyman and the church in general.
