Open Heaven 7 April 2026: Fear Not
MEMORISE
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
— Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
READ: Isaiah 41:10-14 (KJV)
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

ear is one of the greatest weapons that the enemy uses against the children of God. Fear paralyses. Fear hinders faith. Fear stops you from moving forward. Fear makes you see giants where there are only grasshoppers. Fear makes you hear the noise of the enemy louder than the voice of God.
But God’s command to you today is very clear: Fear not.
In our Bible reading today, God gives us several reasons why we should not fear:
1. Because He is with you. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee.” The Creator of heaven and earth, the Almighty God, the One who spoke the universe into existence, is with you. He has not left you. He has not abandoned you. He is right there with you in every situation.
2. Because He is your God. “I am thy God.” He is not a distant deity. He is not an impersonal force. He is your God. He knows you by name. He has claimed you as His own. You belong to Him.
3. Because He will strengthen you. “I will strengthen thee.” You may feel weak. You may feel tired. You may feel like you cannot go on. But God says He will give you His strength. His strength is made perfect in your weakness.
4. Because He will help you. “I will help thee.” You are not alone in your struggles. God is your helper. He will send help from above. He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
5. Because He will uphold you. “I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” His right hand is the hand of power. He will hold you up. He will keep you from falling. He will sustain you through every storm.
6. Because your enemies will be defeated. “All they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded.” The people coming against you will not succeed. Those plotting your downfall will be put to shame. Those warring against you will become as nothing.
7. Because God holds your right hand. “I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand.” This is a picture of intimacy and guidance. God is holding your hand like a father holds the hand of his child. He will lead you. He will guide you. He will not let you stumble.
8. Because God Himself is your redeemer. “Fear not, thou worm Jacob… thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.” You may feel small. You may feel like a worm — insignificant, despised, powerless. But God says He is your redeemer. He has paid the price to set you free. He has bought you back from the hand of the enemy.
Beloved, whatever you are facing today, God is saying to you: Fear not. Do not be afraid of the report of the doctor. Do not be afraid of the economy. Do not be afraid of the threats of the enemy. Do not be afraid of the future. God is with you. God is for you. God will help you. God will strengthen you. God will uphold you.
Fear is a liar. Fear magnifies problems and minimises God. But faith magnifies God and minimises problems. Choose faith over fear today.
