The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II has donated two motorized fumigating machines to Rivers people.
The Rivers State Government has received two locally motorized fumigating machines from the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
The machines were handed over to the state government by a member of the Ooni’s COVID 19 Taskforce, Princess Fadekemi Fadojutimi, at Government House PH. The Ooni represented by Fadekemi, said the machines is part of efforts to curb the spread of the virus in the country.
The Ooni commended the state governor for his proactive measures in the fight against the coronavirus in the state. He noted that the machines which uses sodium hydrochloride solution would assist the state government alongside other measures put in place to contain the pandemic.
The Commissioner for Health, Professor Princewill Chike who represented the governor, received the equipments on behalf of the state government. Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in his remark thanked the Ooni for the kind gesture to the state government and the people of the Rivers state.
