Only Nigerians with duly registered National Identification Numbers will be allowed to purchase the Federal Government N40,000 bag of rice, the Government has said.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Abubakar Kyari, disclosed this in a statement at the weekend.
He said the move was to curb racketeering and crash the prices of food in the markets, adding that it would be “one man to one bag or one woman to one bag”.
