Former Commissioner of Agriculture in Rivers State, Emma Chinda has reacted to one of the trending songs by the band of Governor, Nyesom Wike titled “as e dey pain them, e dey sweet us.“
Chinda, a major critic of Wike in a statement at the weekend said only a bad leader would sing such a song to his followers.
“Only a bad leader will sing the song ‘As e dey pain dem e dey sweet us, as e dey sweet us e dey pain dem’ to his followers,” he said.
The song which is now very popular amongst Rivers people was sang repeatedly by the band of the governor during the commissioning of projects in the last two weeks in the state.
Gov. Wike had used the song to taunt perceived political opponents in the state and across Nigeria.
He is currently having a running battle with the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar and some of his supporters in the state.
