The Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Sir Barr. Shedrack Chukwu Ogbogu, on Monday met with contractors and principal officers of the council over uncompleted infrastructure projects within the ONELGA Secretariat.
At the meeting held on September 15, 2025, Ogbogu expressed dissatisfaction with the state of several stalled projects, warning that his administration would not tolerate delays. He directed contractors to return to site immediately and gave them 48 hours to submit their Bills of Quantity and other necessary documents to enable swift mobilization.
The council boss later inspected ongoing projects at the Secretariat alongside the contractors, pointing out areas that required corrections. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completing abandoned projects and delivering quality infrastructure to residents.
Ogbogu assured the people of ONELGA that his leadership would uphold transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the discharge of its responsibilities.
