Two males and a female known as “One Chance Robbers” have been arrested in Rivers State, while trying to rob a man of his money.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, at the Rumuosi axis of Obio/Akpor, Local Government Area of the state.
Eyewitnesses confirmed to our source that the suspects were apprehended and handed over to the Choba Police Station, after the victim had raised an alarm.
The suspect, in a chat with journalists said he boarded the vehicle and while on their way, the driver asked him to open and close the door properly, which he did.
He said immediately after that, the driver tried to drag the money he had in a bag, prompting him to raise an alarm, which led to their arrest.
Eyewitnesses also confirmed that the high rate of the act in the area is alarming, as they called on Security Operatives to end the menace.
