The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Promise Reginald, on Thursday, received a delegation of Federated Union of Omuma Students (FUOS) led by his Special Adviser on Student Affairs, Miracle Anele.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Special Adviser on Student Affairs to the Chiairman, Miracle Anele, thanked the Chairman for granting them audience and commended him for his impressive developmental strides and quality service to the people of Omuma in his first month as caretaker chairman.
Mr. Anele assured the chairman of the Omuma students support for his vision to uplift the people and take the local government to greater heights.
The SA on Student Affairs further appealed to the Rt. Hon. Reginald to approve the payment of bursaries for Omuma indigenes in higher institutions.
He urged the caretaker chairman to consider siting a National secretariat complex for the Federated Union of Omuma Students in the local government and provision of a utility vehicle for the students union body.
In response, Rt. Hon. Promise Reginald unveiled plans to pay student bursaries and granted all their requests in his characteristic magnanimity.
He assured the students of his unwavering support and commitment to their welfare and development.
The Omuma Caretaker Chairman praised the students for their initiative and enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of education and youth engagement in building a brighter future for Omuma.
This gesture reinforces the Rt. Hon. Reginald’s reputation as a leader who prioritizes the needs and aspirations of his constituents, especially the youths.
