Caretaker Committee Chairman of Omuma LGA, Hon. Promise Reginald, has handed over an operational vehicle to the Taskforce Committee on Illegal Bunkering, Pipeline Vandalism, and Regional Crime to combat illegal oil activities and economic sabotage in the area.
According to Chief Press Secretary of the council, Benson Jackson, the vehicle was received by the Chairman of the Committee, Charles Chibuzor Nweke, who expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the provision.
The council chairman reiterated his administration’s zero-tolerance stance on illegal oil activities, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to combat economic sabotage.
On his part, chairman of the committee, assured that the vehicle will be utilized to eradicate illegality in the area.
