The Executive Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area, Hon. Uchechukwu Obasi (JP), has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to educational development with the flag-off of the construction of an ultra-modern school building at Community Secondary School, Umuajuloke.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Obasi assured residents that his administration would not demolish existing school structures without completing new ones, stressing that education remains one of the greatest legacies any leader can leave for future generations.

“By investing in this modern facility, we are investing in the future of Omuma,” he said.

The project, according to him, will feature fully equipped classrooms, administrative offices, and modern learning facilities to promote academic excellence.

The flag-off ceremony drew the attendance of dignitaries, community leaders, and students of the school, who expressed appreciation for the chairman’s commitment to advancing education in the area.

Hon. Obasi concluded by extending gratitude to all who supported the initiative and wished Nigerians a happy Independence Day celebration.
